Course content:

Singing in polyphony – made easy! Using exercises and songs, we not only train our ears, but also the ability to hold our voice and maybe even develop our own "second voices" to existing melodies. The small group in particular makes it possible to perceive one's own voice in the overall sound and to merge with it instead of getting lost in the crowd.

The workshop also includes "warm-up" exercises on breathing and respiratory support as well as resonance building.

We sing simple polyphonic phrases, canon songs and polyphonic arrangements from pop and classical music, mostly a cappella.

The workshop is aimed at anyone who wants to learn more about polyphony and choral singing and develop their voice at the same time. Experience with choral singing/polyphony is helpful. Knowledge of music is not required.

I use the Complete Vocal Technique (CVT) in my work with the voice.

COVID 19 hygiene concept: An air purifier with a HEPA filter is used to minimize the risk of infection. We ventilate regularly and keep a distance of 2 m. A minimum area of approx. 6 square meters is available per participant. Disinfectant is available at the entrance.
